Terms & Conditions
Blocs Builder is owned and operated by Better Thought Studio. You have the assurance of trading with a professional registered company.
We may at our discretion, modify or revise these terms and conditions at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions.
Payment
Brics, Blocs, Themes and other products are sold in United States Dollars. Directly Invoiced and service work is in New Zealand Dollars.
Products processed through Gumroad are subject to Gumroad’s terms and conditions.
Direct sales of products and services (ie. not through Gumroad) are invoiced digitally through Xero with Payment options of Paypal, Stripe and Apple Pay where available. Direct sales are in New Zealand Dollars only.
All direct sale Invoices are payable within 7 days. Deposits are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to withhold goods and services and ownership until payment is made in full.
Deposits
We may require deposits for orders or services rendered. All deposits made are non-refundable. Dependent on the unique circumstances of an order or service, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking. In such cases, the deposit will go toward the total price of the order or service, and the remaining balance will be due upon completion of the service or delivery of the product.
Tax
Gumroad may charge local and other taxes based on regional laws. Customers are responsible for any additional taxes or customs fees that may apply to their order based on their location.
For direct sales, all invoices are taxed based on New Zealand law. New Zealand-based clients are invoiced with +GST of 15%. International clients are excluded from this tax.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure compliance with any applicable tax laws or regulations in their location.
Use of Products or Services
Our products and services are intended for legal use only. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their use of our products or services complies with all applicable local and international laws, regulations, and policies.
Customers are advised to familiarise themselves with their obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to seek independent legal advice if necessary to ensure compliance. Better Thought Studio accepts no responsibility, liability, or consequential loss resulting from misuse of our products or services.
Refunds
Please be aware that all sales of digital products are considered final. Due to their nature, refunds are typically not provided. However, we reserve the right to consider refunds in exceptional circumstances. So please contact us first.
Pricing
From time to time we may review and adjust the pricing of our services and products. We generally do not do promotional discounts and try to offer a fair value for money that reflects development, support and sales.
Commercial Use
If you intend to use our products or services for commercial purposes, please consider purchasing additional copies per project.
Although you are under no obligation to do so, we appreciate your support and understanding that the purchase of additional copies helps to compensate our efforts in creating quality products.

Compatibility
Our products are designed to work with the latest versions of Browsers and Blocs App. We follow best practices to ensure smooth operation, but conflicts with certain 3rd party products or future updates, although rare, may occur.
In the event of a compatibility issue, we will endeavour to resolve it. However, this may require a significant update to our product and could potentially involve a paid upgrade.
We cannot be held responsible for any issues or damages resulting from the use of our products in an incompatible environment.
By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and accept these terms regarding compatibility.
Product Updates
We may issue updates to Better Thought Group's products from time to time. Point releases (e.g. version 1.0 to version 1.1) are free, while major releases (e.g. version 1.0 to version 2.0) are paid upgrades. We will discontinue providing support or updates for previous major releases.
Please note that some Bric updates may require resetting the Bric in your project, which may result in the loss of existing settings. While we try to avoid this whenever possible, it may be necessary due to the nature of the Blocs Bric Builder
Custom Code and Services Warranty
Upon full payment of services, the custom code we provide is covered for 14 days from defects and bugs.
Outside of this cover time, any updates, modifications, changes are chargeable.
Support
Free support where applicable is offered over email. Quick response is not guaranteed during weekends and holidays. We are based in New Zealand, so please consider the time difference. For example, your Friday could be our Saturday. Blocs Builder is run in addition to our full time work, but we try to be as responsive as possible.
